Voted Best In The UK For Customer Satisfaction
Our team is very proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, we have been awarded the top-tier UK National Customer Satisfaction Award by industry standards organisaton Independent Network!
Based on the feedback of 484 customers received between January and December 2020, Thistle achieved an Average Customer Satisfaction Rate of 97.96% and was awarded the title of ‘Best in The UK For Customer Satisfaction’ at this year’s awards ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 28th September 2021.
UK Installer Of The Year Award Finalists
Thistle has been shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious “UK Installer of The Year” award and is the only Scottish company to be represented within the category.
This is the sixth year in a row that Thistle has been selected as a finalist for the UK Glass & Glazing Industry Awards and we have also held the distinction of winning the 2015 and 2017 UK Conservatory Installer of The Year Awards.
Customer Satisfaction Award Winners
Homeowners have once again voted Thistle Windows & Conservatories Ltd the best in the UK for customer satisfaction – its 16th major national award from the respected industry standards organisation Independent Network.
The Aberdeen-based company was named top in its class at Independent Network’s annual award ceremony and also has the honour of holding the most trophies in the entire organisation of over 140 member companies UK-wide.
UK Conservatory Installer Of The YEar Award Winners
It is with great pride the team at Thistle Windows & Conservatories can announce that we have won the G17 Conservatory Installer of The Year Award at the 2017 UK Glass and Glazing Industry Awards!
In addition to winning the “Conservatory Installer of The Year” category, Thistle was also chosen as a finalist for the “Installer of The Year” and the “Retail Promotional Campaign of The Year” awards – with the distinction of being the only Scottish company represented in any of our categories.
In the Spotlight at the Scottish Home Show
Thistle Windows & Conservatories would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit our stand at the Scottish Home Show 2016, which ran from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th September.
The exhibition was also an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our brand new, 3D virtual reality design capabilities with “Thistle VR”; an innovative new feature to our Home Extension Design Service that allows our customers to step inside their Home Extension project before it is even built.
Eilidh Goes Above & Beyond The Call of Duty
Eilidh Haggart, Thistle Windows’ PA to Directors & HR Coordinator, is no stranger to championing charitable causes. Since joining the company in 2013 she has always been heavily involved with Thistle Windows’ efforts in fundraising and charitable work, which has included activities and support for a wide range of charities.
Eilidh’s passion for helping others hasn’t stopped there – she has gone above and beyond the call of duty in her own personal efforts to help a local storm-hit animal sanctuary with an innovative and unique fundraising drive.
Thistle Installers Achieve SVQ/SCQF Awards
As a company that strongly believes in continuous, on-going training and development for our staff, we are very proud to announce the achievement of a range of SVQ/SCQF qualifications in fenestration installation by our surveyors and installation team members.
Awarded by GQA Qualifications, our team members were assessed on-site over a period of months by The Vocational College and were presented with their certificates on Thursday 21st January 2016.
Thistle Wins UK Conservatory Installer of The Year Award
For the team at Thistle Windows & Conservatories, 2015 has been a year of great achievements and celebration.
In addition to the company marking it’s 20th Anniversary, the Aberdeen-based firm was awarded the prestigious UK Conservatory Installer of The Year Award at the G15 Awards for the UK Glass and Glazing Industry, which was held in London on Friday 27th November, 2015.
Thistle Makes Shortlist for 2014 Glazing Industry Awards
On the back of winning both the UK National and Scotland Regional Awards for Customer Satisfaction from Network VEKA, the team at Thistle Windows & Conservatories has even more cause for celebration as the company was shortlisted as a finalist at the G14 Awards in the UK Conservatory Installer of the Year category.
The G-Awards, established in 2003, has become one of the most important dates of the year for the glass and glazing industry with companies from across the UK competing to be recognised as the best of the best.
