Prospective members are rigorously vetted before being allowed to join Network VEKA and this ensures that only the very best, most professional companies are admitted. Once accepted, members are continuously audited and every customer completes a satisfaction questionnaire, to highlight good practice and/or any problems to be addressed.

A: Every Network VEKA member must offer every customer our unique Ten Year Insurance-Backed Guarantee. This ensures that your installer’s guarantee lives on, even in the unlikely event that your Network VEKA member company should cease to trade for a number of reasons.
A: Not necessarily. Firstly, the guarantee is given by Network VEKA rather than the installation company and secondly, our guarantee is supported by an insurance policy in our name, which covers our liabilities under the guarantees we give.
A: Where a member asks for a deposit or stage payments, you will be offered a separate guarantee to cover these payments. These are also insurance-backed and are intended to cover deposits and stage payments for up to three months from date of order (deposits) or up to four months from that date (instalments).

A: Your Network VEKA guarantee can, for a nominal fee, be passed on to the new owners of your home. So not only are the new owners covered but you also have an added benefit to present to potential buyers. Please contact your installation company to ensure that your guarantee can be transferred.
A: Network VEKA not only sets strict standards for every member, it even vets prospective members for financial stability before allowing them to join. Only those companies that uphold the standards are allowed to continue as members. Also, every member’s employee who visits your home must carry a Network VEKA identity card as your assurance that the company really is a member.
A: Network VEKA demands that every member company’s staff are trained to high standards in all relevant areas, such as surveying, installation and Building Regulations. But it doesn’t end there: Network VEKA also regularly audits every member to make sure they are still up to scratch.
A: The structure and rules of Network VEKA mean that all PVC-U frames used by an installer member must not only be made of extrusion products from VEKA plc – one of the world’s most technically advanced PVC-U companies – but also be manufactured by an approved and tested Network VEKA fabricator member. That way, you can be assured of an unbroken chain of quality control from raw materials all the way to your home.
A: Every customer is invited to complete our Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire and each one of these, from every single installation (around 16,000 a year) is collated to give a constant running check on every member.
To give you some idea of the standards set, Network VEKA members collectively score consistently higher than the recognised industry average for all home improvements of less than 85%. Of course, any problem with the product itself is covered by our guarantees as well as your statutory rights.
A: Many speak of PVC-U products such as windows, doors and conservatories lasting a lifetime because, unlike wood, there are no natural factors such as rotting or warping to limit their life. In practical terms, the industry standard for a “lifetime” is defined as 35 years or more, assuming a little occasional maintenance. PVC-U has been used as a window frame material since the 1960s and many of the very earliest frames are still going strong.
A: PVC-U will never need painting and will give many years of service with only the minimal amount of maintenance. You can keep everything as good as new with just an occasional wipe with slightly soapy water followed by a rinse and the occasional spot of oil on the hinges and joints of the mechanism (we recommend light oil rather than the spray variety).
Once your installation is complete, you will receive our free booklet with all the advice you need on maintenance. Please note: proper maintenance in accordance with this guide is also a conditional factor in the Network VEKA guarantees.
A: Tell your friends! When an organisation like Network VEKA is based so strongly on the recommendation of happy customers, then those recommendations are extremely important to members. In fact, they are very proud that a high proportion of their work comes from such recommendations – far higher than the industry average. A: You should receive communication within 28 days of your order. In the event you do not receive your Network VEKA notification and ‘Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire’ please contact your installer. If you have returned your questionnaire to Network VEKA and haven’t received your Guarantee Certifictate within 28 days please contact Network VEKA on 01282 473170.
